Gargalianoi is a town of the Municipality of Trifylia, Messinia, which is built on a hill with a magnificent view of the olive groves of the area, and ends in Marathopoli, a picturesque fishing village and the island of Proti. It is also approximately 15 kilometers from Filiatra, 25 kilometers from Pylos and 30 kilometers from Kyparissia and 50 kilometers from Kalamata Airport and by extension Kalamata.
In Gargalianos, in addition to the residences, there is a central market, as well as various shops, pharmacies, bakeries, traditional cafes around the central square of Gargalianos and other main streets.
